August 23rd, 2021: The executive director of Msichana Imara Foundation was featured in the book 100 TANZANIA SHEROES 2021, which recognized her as a leading woman promoting gender equality in the country.

November 27th, 2021: Msichana Imara Foundation was among the 8 organizations selected to share their success stories at the TEDx event in Arusha, Tanzania. The event was attended by young people from various parts of Tanzania.

December 8th, 2021,: Msichana Imara Foundation was awarded the CHAMPIONS PROMOTING SEXUAL REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH RIGHTS award for its efforts in promoting gender equality in Tanzania. The award was presented at the Serena Hotel in Dar es Salaam by WILDAF Tanzania.

August 28th, 2022: The foundation was awarded the BEST YOUTH HEALTH CARE PROJECT OF THE YEAR 2022 by Tanzania Youth Transformation Africa for its Mawimbi project. The project aims to improve the health outcomes of young people in Tanzania

November 25th, 2022: the founder and executive director of the foundation won the BEST CEO FOR NON-PROFIT 2022 award by Tanzania Top 100 Executive List. The award recognizes her outstanding leadership and contributions to the non-profit sector
